Type V Acrylic - Plasti-Grit® Plastic Blast Media is softer that Urea or Melamine and considerably "more forgiving" in the hands of the operator. Acrylic media blasting is recommended for removing paint and coatings from cars, aircraft, trucks, tractors, rail cars, vans, motor homes and marine vessels. Type V meets the requirements of Mil-Spec MIL-P-85891A and is approved for use by the U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force. Industries include: automotive resoration, pain & coatings and aircraft maintenance.
